The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia has been featured in Building Design + Construction’s August feature story:

“Some hospitals are integrating outdoor parks into their design concepts. A new 8.5 acre clinical research campus for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia will include three 26-story towers that are linked by four distinct public open spaces totaling 4.5 acres. The first building, the Roberts Center for Pediatric Research, just opened, and the entire project should be completed by 2022.

Don Clinton, AIA, MRIAC, LEED AP, Partner with Cooper Robertson, one of the architects on this project, says this ‘public realm’ will be accessible to patients and their families, and will connect the buildings to the surrounding University City neighborhood.”
