On Thursday, April 13th, partner Donald Clinton will participate in a roundtable discussion convened by AIA Cincinnati and the Architectural Foundation of Cincinnati.
“Healing the Divide: Restoring Our Connection to the Riverfront in Cincinnati,” will address new opportunities atop the Fort Washington Way highway that will reconnect the city grid to the Ohio River. The panel will initiate a public dialogue with the design community and planners to share ideas for the potential of building decks. Initial plans envision four new blocks with the potential for new open space and for 3- to 4-story buildings integrated with the city fabric. The panel will address the question of what program uses might occupy the decks, and what the appropriate mix of open space and program uses should be.
The panel discussion will be held at the Graydon at 312 Walnut Street in Cincinnati from 4:30 to 6:30pm.
