The waterfront’s attractions include a children’s museum, a municipal auditorium and visitor center, and a 1700-seat performing arts hall. The master plan introduces a new open space system which clearly identifies this cultural district along the city's main artery with a direct link to an events park. Articulated open spaces create destination settings along the water’s edge, connecting new high-rise residential areas to the north and south.
