The assignment included preprogramming, sizing, and stacking for two new clinical facilities totaling 1.7 million sq. ft. Combining new construction with reuse or demolition of old space, the plan identifies sites for 1 million sq. ft. of new research space and 800 additional dorm rooms, expands each of the three schools and their infrastructure, proposes a new power plant and parking garage, and develops a new open space system.
