In order to improve pedestrian access to the water, a new streetscape plan reduces traffic, mitigates physical barriers, and helps define public areas using landscape and special paving designs. At critical junctures around the Harbor, the plan reconfigures roads and enlarges public spaces to increase pedestrian access and foster new development.
