Two adjacent 380-foot long existing buildings were restored and transformed to create a living museum and a bus arrival station. The 1856 brick structure contains information and exhibit areas, a small orientation theatre, restrooms, refreshment stands, and staff offices; while the metal bus shed is a transfer point for tourists to board local jitneys and horse drawn carriages to see historic neighborhoods.
