Serving as partner-in-charge, project manager, and project architect on a variety of projects since joining the firm in 1988, Ed has extensive private residential experience, leading design work on several new construction and renovation projects. He has also managed and designed a number of multi-family apartment, commercial, resort, institutional, and specialty buildings including the Carlyle Residences in Florida, the New Albany Bath and Tennis Club in Ohio, and the Visitor Center at the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden in Virginia. Prior to joining Cooper, Robertson, Ed worked for the Polshek Partnership and received a Commendation for Design Excellence for the Jacob’s Pillow Design Competition. While studying for his Bachelor of Architecture at Cornell University, he co-founded The Cornell Journal of Architecture and co-edited the second edition on urban design. An active member of the American Institute of Architects, the Architectural League of New York, and the Institute of Classical Architecture; Ed has had projects published in both Architectural Digest and Progressive Architecture magazines.
