David McGregor

The firm's administrative manager and public policy coordinator for over thirty years, David also served as project manager on many of the firm's major institutional and public projects including Battery Park City, Yale University's Campus Framework Plan, the Johns Hopkins Medical Center Master Plan, the Plan for Harvard University in Allston, and the Framework Plan for MIT. He has been the advisor on zoning and tax policies, public incentives, and public approvals processes to the 42nd Street Development Corporation and the Rockefeller Development Group, among others. Prior to joining Cooper, Robertson, David held numerous positions in New York City government, including Director of Planning of Manhattan for the City Planning Commission, Assistant to the Mayor, and Commissioner of Development. He also served as University Officer for Academic Resources at Long Island University, acting President of Southampton College, and Chancellor of the Vermont State Colleges. David received his Bachelor degree from Harvard and his Doctorate from Columbia University.
