Andrew B. Ballard, AIA

Since joining the firm, Andrew has served as lead design architect and partner-in-charge for numerous private estates, apartments, resort communities, equestrian plantations, and a number of cultural buildings over the past fifteen years. He has worked extensively in environmentally sensitive coastal settings, expansive agricultural lands, and within planned towns and university campuses. A few of his recently completed projects include a Horse Cutting Ranch in Aspen, Colorado, the renovation and expansion of the historic Inn at Perry Cabin, and The Institute for the Arts and Humanities at The University of North Carolina. Prior to joining the firm, Andrew practiced in Seaside, Florida after receiving both a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Auburn University. His current work includes renovation apartment projects in Manhattan and the master plan and architectural design of a private resort in the Caribbean. Andrew is an active member of the American Institute of Architects, the Architectural League of New York, the Beaux Arts Alliance, and the Institute of Classical Architecture & Classical America.
