In addition to designing three major new buildings on campus, Cooper, Robertson undertook extensive conversions and renovations of existing spaces at this private K-12 school. The outmoded gymnasium was transformed into a 400-seat dining hall with a mezzanine; the out-dated 4-lane indoor swimming pool was transformed into music class rooms and offices for the Admissions Department; and the existing dining hall became a new Student Commons room for studying, socializing, and formal events. The Commons physically connects the new Middle School to the existing Upper School via the Middle School's new enclosed pedestrian bridge, also designed by Cooper, Robertson.
