    After completing the master plan for this new community on the Gulf Cost of Florida, Cooper, Robertson also designed certain signature buildings in the town center. This mixed-use building with residential units above and ground-level retail shops below is actually two identical buildings connected by a 2-story covered bridge, hence it is known as the Twins. Incorporating elements of the regional Cracker style while also adhering to coastal Florida's strict building codes regarding hurricane damage and wildlife, the building's multi-story exterior galleries, louvered shades, wood detailing, and divided-light French doors and windows create homes with generous porches, plenty of light, and views to the beach and sea.
