    Chapel Hill, North Carolina

On a corner site overlooking the university's original quad amongst 19th and 20th century buildings, this cluster of three connected buildings underscores the mission of the Institute: teaching, research, and outreach. When lit at night, the Fellows Pavilion, an octagonal room overlooking the quad, becomes a symbolic lantern of learning at the heart of the campus.
