• Greek Revival Farmhouse

    Waccabuc, New York

A Manhattan couple purchased this magnificent 18-acre estate which, at the time, had a serviceable modern structure on it built in the 1960s. Cooper, Robertson was hired to design a Greek Revival farmhouse on the foundation of the existing building that would fit more with the bucolic nature of the site. The house is designed to look as if it were constructed in three parts, in the additive way most houses in New England were built. The grounds include a pool and pool house, motor court and garage, staff quarters, and a tennis court.
