The Buccini/Pollin Group working with the City of Chester, Pennsylvania hired Cooper, Robertson to prepare a master plan for this 147-acre site on the Delaware River in order to revitalize the waterfront. The mixed-use development at the base of the Commodore Barry Bridge will accommodate 2,700,000 square feet of residential, office, retail, and entertainment space. The urban design framework Cooper, Robertson is developing will reconnect the city to its waterfront and achieve three goals: revitalization of the waterfront, revitalization of adjacent neighborhoods, and enhancement of the area surrounding a proposed 20,000 seat stadium.
