• Yale Center for British Art

    New Haven, Connecticut

Housing the largest, most comprehensive collection of British art outside Britain, the Yale Center for British Art asked Cooper, Robertson to research both the current and future space needs and physical impacts of its programs while also considering the requirements of a concurrent building conservation plan. In collaboration with a preservation architect, the 20-year expansion and conservation plans are to be combined into a joint document which will guide the Center's growth as well as ensure careful respect for the original Louis Kahn building.
