    Campus Master Plan

    Williamstown, Massachusetts

Before launching a building program as part of its long-range plan for growth, the Clark Art Institute hired Cooper, Robertson to develop a master plan for its entire 130-acre campus. The resulting plan accommodates the facilities' projected ten-year growth and identifies longer-term opportunities for the enhancement and use of the campus. Working closely with the Board of Trustees, Cooper, Robertson analyzed the constraints and opportunities of the remarkable rural setting and devised an approach to building on the site that fosters visitor awareness of and connection to the natural landscape.
