WaterColor is a new 499-acre, mixed-use community on the Gulf of Mexico in the northwest panhandle of Florida, abutting the villages of Seaside and Seagrove Beach. Sitting between the Gulf of Mexico and an inland lake, the town was initially conceived as a second-home resort but its popularity has made it a year-round residential community providing retail, office, recreation, cultural, and community service uses. In addition to the town master plan, Cooper, Robertson designed 19 mixed-use and multi-family buildings in the town center, 28 cottages, the post office, tennis club, and the lake pavilions as well as the schematic design for both the Beach Club and the fire house.
