    Cooper, Robertson turned a 50-acre conventional suburban office park into a vibrant and sustainable 24-hour neighborhood with 3.9 million square feet of residential, retail, office, and hotel space. Compact development was achieved through careful grouping of buildings and open spaces. A series of gardens, green roofs, and pools filter storm water on site, recharge groundwater, and store gray water for reuse on the site. Narrow internal streets calm traffic and easy access to the Dulles Metro Line encourages walking, with parking hidden within the site's topography. Certified LEED ND Silver, Reston Heights is one of the first LEED ND Certified Projects in the country and the first ever in Virginia. Read about it in the Washington Business Journal.
