Cecil Bakalor

With 33 years of experience including 20 years at Cooper, Robertson, Mr. Bakalor has worked in a support and lead design role on many urban design and architectural projects, several of which have been in New York City including Battery Park City, 42nd Street Development Study, Theater District Study, Lincoln Center Master Plan, Fordham University Master Plan, Manhattan Residential Study and numerous development proposals. More recently he has worked on urban design and architectural studies on the Brooklyn waterfront, including Greenpoint, Williamsburg, Atlantic Terminal, and Red Hook. Prior to joining Cooper, Robertson, Mr. Bakalor worked primarily on residential projects as an architect in New York, London, and South Africa. He received a Bachelor of Architecture from The University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa, a Master of Architecture and Urban Design from Columbia University, and a Master of Arts from New York University.
